Pick up your registration bag at the Lead Library after June 1st.

Programs will take place under the event tent in the Visitor’s Center Parking Lot.

July 1^st Kickoff – Black Hills Raptor Center

10:30-Noon, All Ages! Only program this day

July 8th – Mining: What’s going on under our feet?

Takes place in the education room of the Visitor’s Center

July 15th – Dinosaurs, Fossils, Volcanoes, Oh My!

July 22nd – Archeology: There’s more to find in dirt than worms

July 29^th – Ice Cream Social & Water Fight

Unless otherwise stated all programs will be at the same times, under the big white tent in the visitor center parking lot

Adult Summer Reading Program

Adult Summer Reading is coming back this summer — and so is Reading Bingo! It was such a hit last year that we’re bringing it back for another season of reading fun.

Bingo sheets will be available beginning June 1st at the library.

Completed sheets must be turned in by August 28th.

Read, complete bingos and earn some fun prizes! We can’t wait to see what everyone is reading this summer.

Craft Group

We’re excited to announce our new craft group, meeting every Tuesday from 4-6 p.m.! This informal gathering is designed for established crafters to bring their projects, work alongside fellow creatives, and enjoy a welcoming space to socialize. Whether you knit, crochet, quilt, or craft in another way, we’d love to see you there. Stop by the library this March and discover all the ways you can learn, create, and connect!

Our Craft Group is held every Tuesday from 4 – 6 p.m.

Lead Library Endowment

DONATE TO THE ENDOWMENT BOARD NOW

The Lead Library Endowment Board raises funds to go above and beyond the basics. Tax payer dollars buy the books and keep the lights on.

Some library projects we have supported:

Children’s section update
- furniture, rugs, shelving, etc.
Major furniture purchases including:
- new computer desks
- new circulation desk
- fireplace and comfy chairs
Children’s programming supplies
Don’t forget the Keurig!

But we can’t do it without your help.
